Kidney Donation Gives Second Chance At Life
This story is about Hristo and his mother Petronka, who came from Bulgaria. His disease did not respond to any treatment done in Bulgaria. 37-year-old Hristo had to undergo dialysis 3 times a week. Dialysis was wearing down his body and he had no choice but to have a kidney transplant. The person who would donate his kidney to him had to be blood type B+. But there was no other family member with this blood type in his family. Although no other glimmer of hope remains, our team has successfully performed this incompatible blood group transplant. His dear mother gave him a second chance. His mother donated his kidney to his son. We sent them off to their country in a very healthy way.
